Safety, health and the environment are not only management issues, but they also require the pro-active involvement and commitment of all parties working together to create a safe and healthy working environment, and one where the environmental impact is minimised.

The purpose is to provide a basis for all parties working on any project to interact towards the common goal of achieving a working environment where loss through personal injury, material damage and waste is prevented or controlled.
MSFWA have a certified Integrated Management System (IMS) in compliance with the international organisation for standards in ISO 9001 (Quality); ISO45001 (Health & Safety); ISO 14001 (Environmental) Management System Standards.
- Consider use of alternative products
- Procurement of materials and service from vendors who encourage environmental sustainability
- Reduce what is used and discarded
- Use remaining wast to generate heat and power where possible
- Re-use products where possible
- Manage waste to prevent it going to landfill
- Provide waste segregation and collection facilities
- Engage contractor to collect and recycle waste
- Disposal of waste into landfil, where no other practicable option is available
